Intern reprot – 2013.06.25 Herb Garden

On the 25 of June Groundwork Fukuoka and NPO Green Caravan came to “Fukuoka Shikaku Tokubetsu Shien School”, a school for blind and visually impaired children, to renew the Herb Garden. We started with 9 or 10 people at 10 am and we finished at 2 pm.

First, we had created a small rice field. It was very much fun and a nice experience, since that in my native land rice fields not exist. After we finished the rice field we started to cut of the weed and plant some new herbs and flowers.

Because the weather was lovely and warm and the people were very nice, it was a very nice and funny day. In the evening i was very tired but I know why and that’s a very good feeling.
