Doitsu no jagaimo no suupu

Wedensday, 15th of July a group of nice old ladies wanted to learn how to cook german so called "Kartoffelsuppe"(potato soup). And so we, which is Annett and Derya, teached them. We started at 9 a.m. preparing the ingrediencies, peeling and cutting potatoes, carrots, onions and Wiener-sausages for around 40 people all in all which wanted to eat in the evening. At 3 p.m. when we hardly finished preparing, our "students" a group of mostly older ladies arrived and so we started teaching and cooking together. All together we prepared a lot of german potato soup, a kind of easy handmade ketchup and fried sausages. Somehow Otani san joined to prepare a delicious looking meal. His part was self-invented specialities with chicken and tomatos.

The prepared meal was offered to members of GW and students and stuff of the Asahi Nihongo school Fukuoka, 40 people, who came to Joyo-machi to enjoy Gion-Matsuri!
They arrived at 6 p.m. at "Hotaru to ishi bashi no yakata" and all were eating together until 8 p.m. to leave and watch the beautyful Gion-firework of Joyo-machi …
